Thermal Camera

According to different wavelengths, infrared cameras is divided into near-infrared (NIR) cameras, short wave infrared (SWIR) cameras, medium wave infrared (MWIR) cameras, and long wave infrared (LWIR) cameras.

  • Near infrared (NIR) industrial camera: The output is raw data, suitable for high-quality image processing algorithms.

  • Short wave infrared (SWIR) cameras: InGaAs sensors are typically used to perceive light in this band, and are the most commonly used technology in machine vision applications, including detection, classification, and quality control.

  • Medium Wave Infrared (MWIR) camera: also known as a "thermal infrared" camera, radiation is emitted from the object itself and does not require external light sources to image the object. The main goal is to obtain high-quality images rather than focusing on temperature measurement.

  • Long Wave Infrared (LWIR) camera: capable of capturing infrared energy from 8 to 14 Long Wave Infrared (LWIR) spectra. The main goal is to focus on temperature measurement.

Thermal Camera FAQs

Thermal Camera FAQs

What are the key considerations when using infrared thermal modules?

For better using of infrared thermal module, we need to use it in right distance and thermal range, choose an appropriate accuracy and view angle.

Can Infrared thermal modules be used in non-mobile applications?

Yes, infrared thermal cameras could be used in fields such as disease prevention and control, industrial temperature measurement, intelligent security, outdoor observation, automotive ADAS, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, machine vision, etc.

Can I customize an Infrared thermal module to suit my specific requirements?

Yes, we customize infrared thermal cameras for customer in any kind of shape, view angle and accuracy.

What kind of support and documentation does CK Vision provide?

OEM in infrared thermal cameras, customize applications, design any kind of product for customers.

What are the Advantages of Using Thermal Camera Modules?

What are the Advantages of Using Thermal Camera Modules?

The performance of infrared thermal cameras is stable, reliable, and easy to install. The camera structure is compact, sturdy, and not easily damaged, with a long continuous working time. It can be used in poor environments.

The shutter time of an infrared thermal camera is very short, which can capture high-speed moving objects.

The image sensor of infrared thermal camera is using progressive scan mode.

The frame rate of infrared thermal cameras is much higher than that of regular cameras.

Infrared thermal cameras output raw data, which often has a wide spectral range and is suitable for high-quality image processing algorithms, such as machine vision applications.
